    70 years ago in an operation code-named ‘Dynamo,’ Winston Churchill’s War Cabinet instigated and ordered the Admiralty to round-up shipping (both military and civilian), with the aim of evacuating the British Expeditionary Force and other Allied soldiers from northern France against the Nazi advance across the continent.
