Leading the System 2009
Leading the System brought together children’s centre leaders from across the country to share their professional knowledge, to learn from each other and to celebrate the groundbreaking work that they are facilitating and leading within their local communities.
Taking place in March 2009, the conference was a joint initiative between Together for Children (TfC) and the National College.

Models of leadership
What is the essence of successful leadership? This Teachers TV programme, produced in assocation with the National College, features two children's centre leaders talking about what successful leadership means to them.
Children's Centre Leaders' Network
The Children’s Centre Leaders' Network (CCLN) is a mutual support network for all Sure Start Children’s Centre leaders across England. Facilitated by TfC and the National College, the network is led by children’s centre leaders for children’s centres leaders. Dates for events to be held during spring 2010 are now available on the CCLN website.
