Evidence: What counts as evidence in Education?
The 21st century, so far, has shown a marked preference for educational reform based on evidence, though it is not always clear what kind of evidence is called for, nor how to weigh it; nor, indeed, how it can be used to change policy and/or practice. The purpose of this paper, written by Professor Richard Andrews, is to explore what counts as evidence in Education and in the research field of Educational Studies.
