What's this?

Pupils can be confused (and therefore distracted, noisy and frustrated) if a teacher's instructions relating to a learning task are not clear. Giving clear, sequential instructions, which are frequently reinforced, will enable your lesson to rub more smoothly and minimise the risk of inappropriate behaviour. Here the trainees discuss such issues as teacher expectations, listening skills and choices.
