Phil Snell's section at the TDA is producing SEN materials to support the training and practice of teachers. Most recently the team has launched a toolkit of training materials for SEN/LD&D in Secondary Undergraduate courses. The launch at the Emirates Stadium on June 23rd was well attended by ITT providers. The comprehensive toolkit has been produced in partnership with the profession and all Secondary Undergraduate providers of ITT have been issued with a set. The pack is well organised and is easy to plunder for other courses -all the materials can be downloaded free of charge here. The Secondary materials are the second set of resources made available and complement the Primary Undergraduate materials which were launched last year and are available from the SEN portal.
Additional supplementary video material and a set of ‘Self study' tasks for beginner teachers is being published periodicallly.
