Accessing first-hand knowledge is critical for ensuring that the content of a business studies course has breadth, is exciting and is relevant to learners and their environment and experience. Trainee teachers will need to begin at an early stage to create their own links and develop a bank of case studies and other material that will ensure the teaching and the learning they provide for their learners has relevance and depth. This module is a starting point that provides help and advice and offers some examples of first-hand resources that provide the context for experiential and creative learning.
