Professional Teacher is a brand new journal from the TDA aimed at teachers who are serious about their careers and constantly looking for ways to develop their knowledge about education. The articles are based on recent research, taking the key facts and findings of top educationalists and translating them into readable and informative features. Thought-provoking and inspiring, it will provide plenty of material to get you thinking.
The journal aims to disseminate best practice, advice and guidance to share the 10-year vision for the Masters in Teaching and Learning. It also ensures that what the TDA does for teachers, and the school workforce, is more widely known - so you know who to look to for advice and support when you need it.
The TDA’s guiding precept is “listen, improve, deliver”. We listened to the profession when you said you wanted something like Professional Teacher and we hope it will improve practice - and it is the manifestation of our delivery. But ultimately, we want a journal that will be helpful to the profession.
Professional Teacher is free and is published three times a year.
