2007: Professional skills (Q22-33)

Using the left hand browse menu you can access a wide range of resources that have been tagged to the individual QTS standards.  Below are some key resources which should be helpful in giving an introduction to Professional skills.

These standards relate to the skills of teaching, including planning, assessing, monitoring, giving feedback, team working and collaboration. They establish clear expectations relating to the promotion of positive attitudes to learning, discipline and safe learning environments. They are underpinned by the attributes and knowledge covered in the first two sections.  For further information relating to the QTS standards and ITT requirements visit the TDA website at www.tda.gov.uk/qts.
