7th Annual SENCO Update Conference
This is a significant annual conference for SENCos that took place just before the election. Any comments attributed to government staff will therefore apply to the policies and approaches of the previous administration and may not apply in future. South Camden City Learning Centre
Camden City Learning Centre held a SEN and ICT Conference for their teachers on the 12th of February.
The day was well attended by teachers from Camden and beyond and provided them with an opportunity to consider how technology may be employed in responding to a range of special educational needs. The day began with a keynote presentation by John Galloway who is a highly experienced advisory teacher and consultant for ICT and SEN.

Introduction - Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities: a training resource for secondary undergraduate Initial Teacher Training courses
This training resource was developed by the Institute of Education, University of London (IoE) for the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) for three and four year undergraduate ITT programmes. It was developed in response to requests from ITT providers, employers, trainees and others for structured materials focusing on teaching pupils with SEN and/or disabilities.
