Making Representations to the North Review

Sir Peter is concerned that his review should be informed by the views of interested individuals and bodies. As such he is inviting interested groups and individuals to submit their views on any or all of the points below, in accordance with the guidelines by 22nd February 2010.

If you have views about the wide range of issues raised in the terms of reference and, in particular, the questions set on the Questions web page, we would encourage you to contribute to the review by contacting Sir Peter and the review team concerning: drink and drug driving, the current law, proposals for changes to the law and issues concerning enforcement. Members of the public are also encouraged to share their views.

The North Review of Drink and Drug Driving Law: Call for Evidence

The North Review will consider the case for amending the law on drink driving and drug driving. Sir Peter North has been appointed to provide an independent analysis of the issues and is due to provide a report to the Secretary of State for Transport by 31 March 2010.
