SITPRO Simplifying International Trade

Policy Development Single Window

SITPRO has championed the Single Window concept for many years, both nationally and internationally. This concept proposes simplifications to the way traders submit information about their international trade transactions to government. The goal is to allow traders to submit their information just once through an electronic system that will manage the flow of this information to government departments and agencies.

Recently, as part of the project to review international trade regulation costs, SITPRO has helped to develop a new and innovative approach to delivering an International Trade Single Window for the UK businesses engaged in the trade sphere. A report outlining this new concept in detail is available from the SITPRO website:

Further information about the the Single Window Concept and International Recommendations is also available on this website.
