This summer, SITPRO marked the retirement of its Chief Executive, David Wakeford. During the last five years, David steered SITPRO through some difficult times. He tackled these challenges and, in the process, placed SITPRO in a leading role in the formation of trade policy, ensuring the successful outcome of the recent DTI review.
In addition to spending more time on his boat, David will remain active in the international trade arena, particularly in the work to ensure a WTO trade facilitation agreement, which was one of his key projects at SITPRO. We all wish him well in these activities and all his future endeavours.
