Founded in 1803, the Duke of York’s Royal Military School provides a full boarding education for 11-18 year old children who are primarily from forces families.

The school change to Academy status has been approved and from the 1st September 2010 the school will formally be known as an Academy, but will be proud to keep its Military Traditions.

The school’s principal is Mr Charles Johnson MA (Oxon)
