      Peer Review - Frequently Asked Questions

      ESRC uses peer review to evaluate applications for research funding, and help make prioritisations for funding.

      Peer Review may also be used in other circumstances - for example, to evaluate progress on a large scale research project, or at the end of the research process.

      From 7 July 2008, ESRC will use the Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system to support its peer review process.
