I would like to see this website extended. We need an educative explanatory reference section ..a list of common terms and concepts and their meanings eg What does setting a precedence mean. What are the current laws

We need a visual layout of the hierarchy of government in simple terms so that us simple people can see exactly who is responsible to who and for what

We need more input from moderators. Who are you where are you and what do you think?..maybe even a chatline service where ideas can be bounced around and thought through before being put forward as suggestions in a cohesive and DEMOCRATIC manner

Why the contribution is important

Because theres some confusion and lack of cohesion and lack of government grass roots level input on this site

I think Cleggy said somewhere in one of his intros that this is a prototype, and that they would/might use it in the future as a means for governments to interact with the public.

Good! ty for your input...the more people that click, rate and comment the more chance we have of setting up a decent online "democracy"

I'd like a zero rating option for some of the bile that ends up on here (check the tag "bile" for examples)

I think an ongoing debate from the public so that we can contact each other would be a very good idea!
I'm very puzzled why the present government is deciding what to keep and what to chop with the ideas posted on this web site. The moderator absolutely refuses to keep open my truthful comment that there is a very serious housing crisis in this country which the present government needs to address.Clearly this reaction which is ongoing displays to me how they do not intend to address such a desperate problem. This I find very off putting. They are there to help us. They are paid to do this! If they refuse to do their job they should step down from power.

Yes, it is a good idea to have a web site like this staying open so that people in this country can share ideas. However I have noticed that the moderator has refused to put up my idea that there is a very serious housing crisis in this country. They must address this problem. I notice my new idea which I put up yesterday was refused yesterday. The government are there to solve problems and to help us. If they won't and don't want to help people from ALL strata of society and don't want to acknowledge the facts then they are not doing a proper task and perhaps should step down.

I am suffering discrimination on this web site as the moderator is refusing to print my opinions.I have made good contributions to date and they should respect people more.

I must apologise for my last comment because it was not fairly considered but a little rash.

I think we need -
(A) an edit button,

(B) negative options as well - from one "minus star" meaning "this idea is stupid" to 5 "minus stars" meaning "This poster much be stark crazy and/or a terrorist who took a course in lateral thinking.

Well mousebytes, I was thinking along the same lines. Fbuk got the panic button...maybe we will eventually need one here (lol). Personally I'm currently taking deep breaths and determining to remember that not everyone has equal literacy skills, but that does not mean that their ideas are any less valuable. BUT maybe we DO need a "gripe" page where people can go and spit the bile so as not to muss up any well developing threads. What do you think?

I'm not sure about a "gripe page" because I doubt if the real trolls would use it, but it might be worth trying.
