Exemplification of standards

QCDA is currently working with a number of schools to develop files of pupils’ work that exemplify standards across the key stage 3 national curriculum subjects.  Individual pupil files of work for levels 3 to 8 will be provided for each subject. These will be published on the web in 2010. The pupils’ work in these files will be based on the new programmes of study for key stage 3 and will include a wide range of evidence along with annotations and a commentary evaluating the pupil’s overall performance.

In the meantime, examples of pupils’ work that exemplify standards in the current national curriculum can be found on the NC in action area of this website.
