NOMS National Provider Network

The NOMS National Provider Network (NPN) is a free online resource providing information about providers who have specifically expressed an interest in providing intervention based, offender management and related services to NOMS.

A key objective of the NPN is to provide an online sourcing tool for commissioners and providers to help increase the range and number of organisations who can contribute to effective offender management and the reduction of re-offending. It identifies and promotes local, regional and national providers of services, increasing their visibility to commissioners and other providers, facilitating opportunities for collaboration, new partnerships, innovation and sharing of good practice.

Providers registered on the NPN will also be notified by email of current business opportunities, including tender notices, market consultations, conferences, training opportunities and other related news from across NOMS, HMPS and Probation.

The NPN is open to all providers, large and small, from all sectors (public, private and third sector) who currently provide, or are interested in providing, intervention based offender management and related services to NOMS. Providers are encouraged to regsiter their interest and details on the NPN using the online link below. Once you have been registered on the NPN your organisations details will appear in the online publicly accessible and searchable NPN Directory, unless you opt to be excluded from it.

The NPN was announced in Improving Prison and Probation Services: Public Value Partnerships (new window). It is built around a database of service providers' details, including organisation and contact details and details of the services provided. The services provided are identified using 17 service areas, which include the seven reducing re-offending pathways (new window).

The online NPN Directory incorporates a quick and simple search facility to identify specific groups of providers. The database can be searched by:

  • Organisational name
  • NOMS Regional Area
  • Probation Area
  • Prison
  • Local Authority
  • Town
  • Service type

Registrants who choose not to have their details displayed online will still receive emails notifying them of current business opportunities.
