'The Office' character played by Martin Freeman finds happiness at the end of the series. In the latest television episode of 'Who Do You Think You Are?', Martin discovers ancestors who had a rather different and tragic experience.

His Victorian great-grandparents saw several of their children die. The deaths had an unusual background and this revelation came as a great surprise to Martin.

But his family history is made up of more than just tales of tragedy and death. Along the way he also uncovers the story of his grandfather's role in the Second World War
