Our development programmes for councillors and managers have been created specifically for local government. Courses range from the prestigious Leadership Academy programmes for leading councillors, to the Academy for Executive Leadership for chief executives, directors and heads of service.
LG Improvement and Development organises and sponsors a range of events to support local government improvement. Browse our events and sign up using our online booking form.
LG Improvement and Development works in partnership with other central bodies to deliver a range of online services. These help councils to share knowledge and deliver local services more effectively.
The Peer Clearing House recruits, accredits and place peers. It is hosted by LG Improvement and Development. It facilitates the brokerage of peers for both LG Improvement and Development and non-LG Improvement and Development improvement projects.
