Political Reform Draft Structural Reform Plan

The Coalition Government has published its draft Structural Reform Plan for political reform.

Structural Reform Plans, to be published by all Departments, are the key tool of the Government for making departments accountable for the implementation of the reforms set out in the Coalition Agreement. They set out clear priorities and give the public the opportunity to check departments meet their commitments.

The draft plan on Political Reform sets out a timescale for delivering reform in the areas of:

Monthly update

Regular monthly progress reports on departments’ SRPs are being published to promote transparency and accountability across Government and to allow people to check that departments are meeting their commitments.
