Local Authority Survey

To better understand local authorities' views on the issue of prioritisation for local trading standards and enviromental health services, the Rogers Review, with Ipsos MORI is running an online survey, for local authority Chief Executives. This survey forms the first part of the Review's efforts to gather views from this sector, and provide complementary information to it's face-to-face consultation events.

On 16 or 17 January, Chief Executives from every local authority in England will have received an email invitation (from 'Websurveys') asking their authority to take part, suggesting that the Head of Service responsible for Trading Standards and/or Environmental Health be asked to complete it. The link in each email can only be used by one individual.

Hopefully, those working in Trading Standards and Enviromental Health will already have heard from their Chief Executives about the survey. If not, the Review encourages you to ask your Chief Executives about it and make sure your views are registered.

If you do not believe your authority received an invitation to take part (if, for example, the Chief Executive has recently changed or the invite has been lost), or if you are having technical problems completing the survey, then please contact Suzanne Hall at Ipsos MORI on 0207 347 3166, suzanne.hall@Ipsos-MORI.com.
