This is the home page of the Policy Commission on the Future of Farming and Food.

The Commission was established in August 2001, and its remit covered England. It reported on 29 January 2002. Its report can be found on this page

 The work of the Policy Commission has ceased since it reported to the Secretary of State. DEFRA are now considering the report and how it might be implemented.

Former members, and the Commission's secretariat, may no longer be contacted through the Commission.
