In February 2000
PricewaterhouseCoopers was commissioned by the Cabinet Office to
undertake an evaluation of the Public Sector Excellence Programme, an initiative then
co-ordinated by the Effective
Performance Division within the Cabinet Office. This report details
the findings from the evaluation, draws out the key conclusions and
sets out a series of recommendations informing Cabinet Office of the
next steps it should consider to take the Programme forward.
