Thousands honour the Armed Forces

Members of the Royal Anglian Regiment received the Freedom of the Borough scroll when they joined other veterans and cadets in Romford on Armed Forces Day.

New library for Harold Hill

A new £4 million state-of-the-art library for Harold Hill has been given the go ahead by Havering Council. The new library will be located in the Hilldene Shopping Centre.

Harold Hill housing scheme approved

A new housing scheme, mainly focusing on affordable homes, on the former sheltered housing sites at Darlington and Chippenham Gardens, Harold Hill has been given the go ahead. Havering Council's partners in the scheme will be Notting Hill Housing and Countryside Properties.
