Supervising C1 and D1 learner drivers
From 1 May 2010 it will be illegal to act as an accompanying driver in a category C1, C1+E, D1 or D1+E vehicle unless you've passed a driving test for the category of vehicle concerned.

From 27 April customers who do not have a photocard licence will be able to use a valid UK ID Card as an alternative to their passport.
