Expecting the unexpected

In 1999 the report All our futures: creativity, culture and education was published. Two initiatives are associated with it: a curriculum project to advise schools on how to promote pupils’ creativity and a project aimed at enabling children in selected areas to gain creative skills. It was in this context that Ofsted undertook a survey to identify good practice in the promotion of creativity in schools.
