Infrastructure and development

SEEDA is intent on supporting business critical infrastructure. Creating infrastructure and physical development that supports globally competitive and high growth business, within a low carbon framework, is crucial to the prosperity of the South East. We are focusing investment on projects that will help businesses in the six key sectors grow within the South East and globally.

Examples of our work include:

  • Supporting knowledge transfer from academic institutions to business
  • Enabling broadband supply across the region
  • Promoting innovation and research
  • Delivering 15,300 new jobs and 10,200 homes over the next 20 years
  • Developing places which will be worth £1.7billion (in today's market) once completed.
