ESF celebrates Adult Learners’ Week

The learning achievements of ESF participants were celebrated during Adult Learners’ Week, which took place from 15 - 21 May.

Among the award winners was Gill Pinnock from Leicester. A sales assistant since leaving school, Gill never thought about promotion, until her manager suddenly left the store. After finishing an NVQ Level 3 and a Management Advanced Apprenticeship in retail, funded by ESF, Gill was promoted to the role.

Now, having recruited nine new employees, Gill promotes vocational training to all her staff.
