Turning Knowledge into Enterprise
Important information about the Enterprise Hub Network and South East Business Innovation and Growth
If you are a business which is currently being supported by the Enterprise Hub Network, there are some important changes in the pipeline which you need to be aware of.
This year Enterprise Hubs in the South East are being phased out and the type of support previously available through them will be replaced by South East Business Innovation and Growth, designed to support innovative and high growth businesses at every stage of their growth path and across the region.
Funded by SEEDA and supported by local partners and stakeholders, the aim of South East Business Innovation and Growth is to build on best practice and to provide even more comprehensive and tailored business support to innovative and high growth companies at every stage of their growth path.
Such businesses are vital to the economic success of the region, particularly during the current economic downturn, which is why every effort is being made to help companies start, grow and succeed.
This support is being introduced in two phases. Starting in early summer 2009, assistance will be available to businesses in West Surrey and North East Hants as well as the following areas: South and Mid Hants & Isle of Wight, Berkshire and Basingstoke, and Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
South East Business Innovation and Growth in these areas will initially run concurrently with support still being provided by Enterprise Hubs in other South Eastern counties, notably: Kent and Medway, East Surrey and West Sussex, Oxfordshire, East Sussex & Brighton and Hove.
South East Business Innovation and Growth will be introduced into these further areas later in 2009. Until then, it is business as usual in Medway and Kent, Oxfordshire and East and West Sussex and we look forward to supporting your business as we have done in the past.
