Last Call For Yorkshire Aerospace Companies

Published: Tue, 04 Apr 2006 02:00:00

Aerospace companies in Yorkshire and The Humber have just 12 days left to participate in the Yorkshire and Humber Aerospace Directory which will be produced this spring.

So far just 90 companies are taking part in the directory, which contains profiles and contact details for regional companies who have an interest in supplying the aerospace sector. It will be distributed through British Embassies and High Commissions in countries where there is an aerospace market and it will also be handed out at the Farnborough International Air Show in July and at the Paris International Show in 2007.

It builds on work carried out in 2005 to help aerospace companies in the region to take their businesses further, faster, by attending trade fairs and participating in trade missions funded by UK Trade & Investment.
Inclusion in the directory, which is funded by Yorkshire Forward, is completely free and will be distributed free of charge to buyers and specifiers.

Yorkshire and The Humber is home to many of the key suppliers to such aerospace giants as Airbus and Boeing. In Rotherham, the Advanced Manufacturing Park is developing new technologies for tomorrow's planes bringing together research in metal forming, casting, joining and composites.
Companies interested in being included in the directory are invited to contact Alastair Lang at alastair@almanagement.co.uk or on (07771) 800504 before 17 April.
