The SHA has adopted a new model of working and is creating five sub-regional clusters within its 17 Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), each serving a population of approximately 1 million people.  This will enable the NHS in the West Midlands to face the challenges ahead and strengthen joint working and productivity.
