Terms of Reference
Aim
- To provide specialist (emergency services/Utility company/Transport company) input at a tactical level to develop and enhance civil protection planning at a regional level.
- To support the work of the Regional Resilience Forum.
Terms of Reference
i) Improving co-ordination across the region
- Assisting the Regional Resilience Team in mapping resilience at a regional level, identification of gaps and facilitation of preparedness activity.
- Supporting cross boundary working, mutual aid agreements and information sharing at a local level.
ii) Improving co-ordination between the centre and the region
- Improving access to information on threat assessments and risk management, in both directions.
- Improving access to planning material, generic and specific plans and capabilities, in both directions.
iii) Improving co-ordination between the region and the local response capability
- Improving access to information on threat assessments and risk management, in both directions.

iv) Improving co-ordination between regions
- Supporting cross boundary working, mutual aid agreements and information sharing at a regional level.
v) Supporting planning for a response capability
- Assist in the preparation of regional plans to address national capabilities planning.
