Vacancies

External vacancies within the Government Office for Yorkshire & the Humber are advertised on this website, the Job Centre, the Civil Service Gateway and occasionally in the Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post or specialist publications. Other Government Departments also advertise in this way. However, please be aware we usually recruit from other Civil Service departments and do very little external recruitment.

Please note that as our vacancies are UK Civil Service posts we can only accept applications from UK Nationals; Commonwealth Citizens; EC Nationals and certain EFTA nationals and certain members of their family. You should also be aware that a small number of posts in the UK Civil Service are reserved for UK Nationals only.
