The South East RIEP (Improvement and Efficiency South East) is a partnership dedicated to driving a step change in the performance of local government in the region by closing the gap between the highest performing authorities and others in the region.
Delivering improvements in the face of considerable environmental, economic and social challenges, rising public expectations and slowed growth in public spending will require new levels of efficiency, innovation and performance. Built into the South East approach is support for political and managerial leaders and their staff in developing changed structures, new skills and more effective ways of working.
