People and Sustainable Communities

The Government's Sustainable Communities Plan aims to increase people's quality of life by reducing poverty and providing more opportunities for everyone.

Government Offices make a vital contribution to the Government’s commitment to thriving, vibrant, sustainable communities. Communities and Local Government's Sustainable Communities Plan will affect every region of England, providing homes for key workers, regenerating towns and cities and providing parks for families and children. Above all, the plan is about helping people to live where they want to and having pride in their community. More information on the national picture
