Calculate your employees' holiday entitlement

A worker is entitled to holiday from their first day of employment. The minimum statutory entitlement is 5.6 weeks annually from 1 April 2009.

This tool enables you to calculate a worker's current and future holiday entitlement and how they fit with your leave year.

Note that this tool cannot produce a result for every type of working pattern because the law uses weeks as the basis for calculating the number of days paid annual leave a worker can take. If you select this option but are in any doubt about the result, you should contact the Acas Helpline on Tel 08457 47 47 47.

Go straight to the first question.

It should take less than five minutes to complete this tool.
