More information on the national picture
The team represents a key aspect of the regional tier in civil protection.
The Regional Resilience Team works closely with regional partners including local authorities, the emergency services and other agencies to ensure the Yorkshire and Humber region is equipped to a national standard to plan for and cope with emergencies.
A key element of our work is to support the role the Regional Resilience Forum has to play in setting the strategic agenda for civil protection in the region. In addition to providing secretariat functions and a single point for communication, the team also ensures that the region is engaged fully at both a national level and across the network of Regional Resilience Teams.
