4. Assess attitudes towards recycling initiatives
5. Determine storage capabilities of businesses in terms of additional containers for recycling purposes

Study of Mechanical Biological Treatment Processes
The study tour allowed delegates to assess four full-scale MBT sites on a first hand basis so that they could cross examine technology providers and facility operators on issues related to the implementation and operation of MBT facilities. The report produced documents the visit and importantly the issues associated with adoption of MBT as part of a waste management strategy.

Sustainable Waste Event
Doncaster MBC and CRN UK will host a sustainable waste event in South Yorkshire, followed by a period of directed, specialist support in the region, to enhance partnership work between the public and community sectors in the delivery of waste and resources objectives. This work will focus on a range of ways to enhance delivery of waste strategies by both sectors, from informal agreements to negotiation of formal service level agreements and contracts.
