Changes to ERDF 20 Claim Form Guidance
Changes have been made to the guidance for completion of the ERDF 20 claim form. The main change to be aware of is that project income received above the planned amount will be deducted from the project grant payment and not eligible expenditure as stated in previous guidance. This is contained in paragraph 7, section C of the guidance located under the 'Related Documents' section below.
Claims, Audit Information and Progress Reports (Aide Memoire)
All ERDF projects must submit claims which evidence how much money has been spent, the activities which the funding has been used to fund, the developments / outputs of the project, what the project needs to achieve when, and what proportion of your expenditure should go towards each eligible category. Below you will find links to the claim forms and guidance for use.
The Aide Memoire has been designed to provide you with an indication of what GOWM would like to see on a progress report to help then with the assessment and authorisation of the claim. Download the document from the 'Related Documents' section below.
The latest versions of the ESF Interactive Application Form, Project Profile and Advance Claim Form, Project Progress Interim Claim, Project Closure Report and ESF guidance are available on the main ESF website which is accessible through the link shown under the 'Internet Links' section at the bottom of the page.
ERDF Guidance and Templates for Grant Claims Supporting Documents and Irregularities
ERDF guidance has been introduced on a number of topics which projects must be aware of and act upon where appropriate. To secure the grant claims checking process, projects are required to provide sufficient supporting documentation to permit GOWM and Action Plan Accountable Body staff to carry out effective checks. As a minimum this should be a checklist of all transactions making up the project's grant claim. To make this process easier a new checklist template has been designed for projects to use. This can be viewed and downloaded from the 'Related Documents' section below.
Recent audit work has revealed a lot of good practice around handling irregularities. However in some cases it has been recognised that there is a need to supply more comprehensive data. GOWM have established a main point for contact should you wish to discuss anything with regards to irregularities. Please contact Janine Purvis on 0121 352 5059 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
For further information on this guidance and templates please email the European Funding team or contact your GOWM Project Officer.
