The Government Art Collection (GAC) is a unique British cultural resource within the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Works of art from the Collection are displayed in British Government buildings both in the United Kingdom and around the world, playing a significant role in promoting British art and culture. Almost 10,000 works – over two thirds of the Collection – are now included on this site.
