The National Archives is open to the public today. However, we will continue to monitor the weather and transport situation each day while conditions remain icy. Please be aware that we may need to close to the public earlier than usual if conditions deteriorate, as was the case on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 January. We therefore strongly advise that you do not travel to Kew unless it is absolutely necessary until conditions improve.
