The Department produces short videos to accompany some major health and social care announcements, initiatives and publications. Videos are also sometimes available of events attended by ministers and clinical leads such as conferences. Where possible, these will be made available as streamed files that can be viewed within a webpage, as well as being downloaded.

The new “Catch it. Bin it. Kill it.” national campaign promotes good respiratory and hand hygiene, which can help prevent the spread of swine flu. This TV advert shows how easily germs can be transferred, both in public places and the home, before reminding us of the appropriate respiratory and hand hygiene behaviours.

This video, which has been updated since its launch on 8 October 2009, shows how to prepare the swine flu vaccines for adults prior to administration. It complements existing vaccination training.For further advice on vaccination and anaphylaxis training, please contact your local primary care trust immunisation coordinator.This video is one of a range of resource materials on the swine flu vaccination and should be used in conjunction with these and other advice issued by the Department of Health and the health authorities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
