The Nursing Roadmap for Quality has been designed help nurses and their teams understand the elements of the quality framework that relate to nursing practice.

The document identifies 41 resources across the seven elements of the quality roadmap and aligns to the workforce and career framework work already produced by the Department last year.
The Prime Minister's Commission on the Future of Nursing and Midwifery has published its report - Front-line Care. It sets out the way forward for the future of the professions. The report outlines achievable next steps, making a compelling case for change to which the Government will respond in due course.

This project was commissioned by the four UK Chief Nursing Officers to look at the future direction of midwifery. A project-dedicated website has just been launched to update all stakeholders and users on the development of the project.
