Impact Assessments for Regional Reviews

In November 2006 HMRC announced it was to move to the next stage of its transformation into a customer-focused organisation. This is being achieved in part through a nationwide programme of regional reviews looking at the Department’s office accommodation with a view to bringing it into line with future business needs and achieving savings on behalf of the taxpayer.

A description of how the programme works, and a timetable, is available at HM Revenue & Customs Change Programme.

The effects of proposals on HMRC’s customers, staff and other stakeholders are examined in Impact Assessments. These are developed in respect of every building which is to be vacated.

The table below lists the Impact Assessments on buildings we have announced will be vacated.

Where appropriate, Equality Impact Assessments have also been published.
