Benefits of Interoperability

By interoperating with, public sector buyers can demonstrate their compliance with EU legislation on lower-value contract opportunities. Furthermore, the interoperability programme can offer buyers better value and simpler procurement solutions, allowing public sector organisations to benefit from being able to source a diverse range of competitive suppliers, thus reducing the time and effort taken to complete the procurement process. does not aim to reinvent the procurement process, but centralise the visibility and accessibility for suppliers whilst supplementing existing advertising activity and automating the process of publishing contracts for buyers.

The interoperability programme also allows trade associations and business support networks to support the small business community. By publishing information on your organisationís website and promoting the service to your network of members, you will be assisting small businesses to access contract opportunities from the wider public sector, providing them with a route to ensure continued growth through uncertain economic times.
