Invest West (http://www.investwest.org/), the West of England Investment Service web portal, was established in 2006 by the West of England Partnership. This consists of four unitary authorities - Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire - and a range of social, economic and environmental partners. Invest West includes an on-line commercial property register and information on key business sectors, the West of England economy and labour market, development sites, and links to further sources of advice and funding. Leicester & Leicestershire
The City of Leicester and County of Leicestershire have established a Public Sector Relocation Support Team. This includes support in the provision of economic and demographic information and the development of the business case and wider economic case, details of sites and premises, assistance with site visits, co-ordination of support locally from the private sector and support for staff considering relocation, including reconnaissance visits, information on housing, quality of life, jobs etc. A public sector relocation fact pack has been produced.
Liverpool City Region
The Mersey Partnership provides comprehensive information and support for public and private sector agencies seeking to invest in the region. Tailored information and support for Government agencies is available through The Mersey Partnership and its partner agency, BusinessLiverpool. Halton Borough Council also provide specific information on Runcorn & Widness regional areas.
