Our Vision
Buying Solutions has a strong vision and associated values, both for internal coherence and as a focus for its brand and marketing activities. The achievement of savings drives the direction and priorities of the organisation. This is underpinned by the continued assessment of the way savings are measured and verified, both in terms of purchase price and process cost. 
Our vision captures these aspirations in a way that is easy for all to understand: 'Savings for the Nation.'
We will achieve the best possible value for the taxpayer through effective, sustainable procurement, releasing savings to be recycled into frontline public services.
Our target is to deliver at least £1 billion of savings to customers year-on-year from 2010/11.
Our Values
The values, and the set of behaviours behind these values, help support the delivery of our vision. These values are Trust, Outward looking, Rigour, Can do & Helpful, giving the acronym TORCH
