Key outcomes anticipated in 2009

  • RAB’s 2020 vision report was completed in April 2008.  This highlighted the essential requirements / actions (and timescales) considered necessary to deliver the UK’s share of the EU renewable energy targets.
  • Strategic advice on how best to meet the UK’s share of the 2020 EU renewables target.
  • Information and results from 2009 Tasks feeding the production of a strategy on the expansion of the renewables supply chain, making recommendations on how to increase reliability of renewable technology, bring on the next generation of technology and rapidly expand manufacturing capacity for key components (including maximising economic benefits from increasing renewables deployment).
