CCTV and imaging technology
The i-LIDS video library contains five scenarios each representing real world CCTV footage.
The five scenarios are:
Each scenario is split into three equivalent video datasets each comprising 24 hours of footage. The MCT dataset contains approximately 50 hours of footage.
Each dataset contains a variety of video clips from every 'stage' and users can search for clips containing different types of alarm event, weather conditions and other parameters, based on a high-level ground truth included with each dataset.
The parked vehicle dataset includes - at no extra cost - the low level, frame based text annotation developed by the United States National Institute for Standards and Technology (new window) (NIST). The ground truth data resulting from this labour intesive process is ideal for validating the performance of object tracking algorithms.
