Welcome to the IGGI website

If you are interested in central government's use of Geographic Information, you need to know about the Intra-governmental Group on Geographic Information (IGGI).

As well as promoting best practice in the use of Geographic Information (GI) within central government, IGGI has created the Pan-Government Agreement (PGA), which provides access to core GI data.

This website aims to help central government users get the most out of Geographic Information by

publicising GI news and events;
developing a portfolio of support materials;
providing information on the Pan-Government Agreement; and
encouraging networking with GI colleagues in central government.

Anyone working in central government can sign up for the MyIGGI area, which provides a wealth of information on members and their contact details.
